Town and Country ClydesdalesThe Clydesdale horse originated from the Clyde Valley, near Glasgow in Scotland in the early 18th century and were used as 'pulling power' in agriculture. Clydesdales are very well built, very muscular and active and despite their size have a very even temperament. Their distinguishing feature is the silky feathers, or long hairs, on their lower legs, which have a cascading effect as they move along, which is very beautiful to watch. Dan Dufty, of Town and Country Clydesdales, grew up on a farm, first rode at a very young age and has always had a great love of horses. He bought his first Clydesdale named 'Snow' in the early 1980's and has bred Clydesdales ever since. Clydesdales with their great strength and even temperament are particularly suited for working around people. Town and Country Clydesdales offer the following services with these wonderful horses.
